What's Involved
Congress registration includes access to all presentations and the exhibition hall, morning/afternoon tea, and lunch. The Welcome Reception and Awards Ceremony at the end of Day 1 (September 4) will also be included.
Registrants will need to book and pay for their own registration, accommodation, travel and expenses. More information on recommended accommodation will be released along with registration details.
A Congress Dinner will also be held on Day 2 (September 5). Tickets for the dinner are not included in registration and can be booked separately.

II. Registration Information – CHF
The registration fee for the congress includes:
- Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch
- Awards ceremony and welcome function on 4 September 2025
- Access to all lectures, posters and the exhibition
The World Congress registration closes on 28 August 2025, 5 pm CET.
III. Entering the Congress Venue
WIPO must adhere to a strict security procedure.
To ensure a seamless check-in experience, please allow adequate time for security checks before accessing the venue. Arriving early is highly recommended to avoid delays. If possible, we encourage you to complete your registration on the afternoon prior to the congress.
Please note that full prepayment of your registration is required in order to receive your name badge. It will not be possible to register or pay upon arrival.
Please be aware of the following security measures:
All visitors must pass through a security check upon entry. This includes baggage screening and personal identification verification.
Registered delegates will receive a security badge upon arrival. This badge must be visibly worn at all times within the premises.
Please ensure you have the following items with you:
- A valid ID or passport
- Your registration confirmation email (printed or digital)
- Any necessary documents, such as proof of payment
Prohibited items: Weapons, sharp objects, and other restricted items are strictly forbidden.
IV. Registration Desk and Hours
Check-in for all pre-registered participants will take place at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization).

VI. Modes of Payment
Payments must be made in advance. Please ensure that all payments are made in CHF.
Payments must be received no later than 7 days after the end of the respective registration period, otherwise the next registration category will be applicable (regular registration or late registration).
All payments must be received by 28 August 2025, at the latest.
If you opt for a bank transfer, make sure to cover any bank charges at your expense to avoid reminders for open amounts. Collective remittances must include a full list of names and all payment details.
VII. Cancellation Policy (TBD)
Notification of cancellation or changes must be made in writing to congress@fit2025.org. Please note our terms of cancellation:
- Cancellations received before 1 May 2025: Fully refundable, less CHF 50 processing fee.
- Cancellations received between 1 May 2025 and 1 July 2025: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- Cancellations received after 1 July 2025: No refunds can be made.
